Government of India has organized its 1st National Startup Award 2020 in order to appreciate entrepreneurs and innovation in the country as India has now became world’s third largest startup ecosystem.
Announcing the award winners on Tuesday, various startups across the country have received the award from commerce minister Piyush Goyal.
The award were presented to startups from 12 different sectors including space, agriculture, education, food, finance and energy, which were divided into 35 sub-categories.
BharatPe emerged as a winner in the ‘Fintech’ category. Food Cloud was declared the winner in the Food category with Access to food sub-category.
